Custom Non-Woven Bags: Design and Ordering Considerations

Customization should begin with the bag’s function and construction, then move to features, artwork, proofing, sampling, and commercial terms.

Choose the Base Format

  • D-cut, W-cut, loop-handle, gusseted, or another currently available construction
  • Finished dimensions, GSM, seams, handles, reinforcement, and tolerances
  • Intended contents and handling conditions

Confirm Optional Features

Closures, zippers, pockets, straps, laminations, special shapes, and other features are not assumed to be available. Ask the supplier to confirm feasibility, materials, sample requirements, quantity, price, and schedule for the exact order.

Prepare Artwork

  • Use authorised logos, names, symbols, contact details, and claims.
  • Ask which file format, colour mode, resolution, fonts, and linked assets are required.
  • Define print area, number of sides, colour references, and placement.
  • Identify small text, gradients, photographs, and fine details requiring review.

Confirm the Printing Process

Ask for the proposed substrate, ink system, process, colour count, artwork limits, tolerances, and current capability. A method name does not guarantee a particular print result.

Approve Proof and Sample

Approve a digital proof for content and placement. When appearance or performance matters, approve a physical or production-representative sample and record the accepted reference.

Plan Quantity and Budget

Calculate quantity from measured demand. Compare a current written quote that includes the bag, optional features, setup, printing, proof or sample, packing, taxes, freight, payment, production estimate, and delivery.

Check Claims and Regulation

PP non-woven is plastic. Verify current requirements for the exact product and location. Environmental, food, healthcare, certification, load, or durability claims require product-specific evidence.
